  Find a restrictive promising FAD diet and dive into it.   These diets are unrealistic and promise quick results that don't last. There are many different diets but the process is the same and looks like this:  1) You will lose a few lbs in the first few weeks. 2) You will feel great when you lose the weight. 3) Weight loss will start to plateau. 4) The strong excitement and discipline start to go away because you are no longer getting results.
